Q: Are overnight accommodations available?
A: For Westwood, UCLA Tiverton House, a guest hotel designed to meet the needs of patients and patient families, is located within walking distance of Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. A shuttle service also is available on weekdays to and from the medical center. Call (310) 794-0151 for hotel reservations.

For Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach, please search a list of local hotels by the prximity to our addresses.

Q: How can I obtain a copy of my films or reports?
A: You can call and fax a written request form, the Authorization for Release of Health Information Form, to our film library. For more information and the Authorization for Release of Health Information Form, please visit our Film Library page.

Q: I received a bill and have questions about it. Whom can I call for assistance?
A: If you received inpatient or outpatient services at UCLA Healthcare and would like to speak with a customer service representative, please call (310) 825-8021. If you have already received a hospital or physician bill, you may also reference the phone number indicated on the bill.

Q: Can your office write a letter for us so we can apply for a Visa?
A: First, we have to get a doctor to accept your case and have a treatment plan. As soon as we collect the estimated charges for recommended treatment, then we will write a letter indicating that you have paid the estimated charges and that you are scheduled for an appointment. This is the information usually required before you can obtain a visa, if a letter is required. Please review U.S. Visa requirements at http://www.unitedstatesvisas.gov.

Q: Can I send my patient's medical report and medical films for reviewing? How much do you charge?
A: Yes. In many cases, our faculty are willing to conduct these medical record reviews. We would need the most current (within the past month) medical reports and imaging studies preferrably on CD. The review fee is based on the number and type of studies submitted.

Q: If the Medical Records are in a foreign language, can they be sent this way and you translate them?
A: Your medical records will need to be in English. If a friend or a relative translates your records, please note it on the records. If you prefer we can recommend translation companies experienced in medical record translation.
